 PORT COMMUNITY SYSTEM (PCS) is a standardized electronic platform that connects several information systems and allows intelligent and secure information exchange between stakeholders. The platform aims both to improve the competitiveness of seaports and to optimize and manage port and logistics processes through a single data input. PCS provides a variety of services such as easy, fast and efficient information exchange, electronic customs declaration processing, and all information on cargo import and export as well as cruise ship data.

 The project envisages the development of a common vision for the development and implementation of a PCS system, the development of a model and basic functions of the electronic information exchange system in the Bulgarian ports, the development of tender documentation for the selection of a contractor, the preparation of amendments to the legal framework related to the implementation of a port community information system.

 The project includes the following activities:

  1. 1. Activity 1: Development of a concept for the construction and implementation of PCS for

Bulgarian seaports.

  1. 2. Action 2: Development of PCS Software and Hardware Architecture Project.
  2. 3. Activity 3: Preparation of tender documentation for contractor selection.
  3. 4. Activity 4: Elaboration of projects for changes in the legal framework related to the implementation of PC
