A new school for Parè: the “Rodari” primary school inaugurated in Conegliano

Post Image

On Saturday 26 September 2026, Conegliano inaugurated the new Rodari primary school, which welcomes 150 pupils in a modern, safe and energy-efficient building. The €5.6 million project was largely financed with PNRR funds (Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan) and completed in record time: the construction site opened in December 2023 and works were completed in July 2026.

We are proud to have contributed to this result with Pool Engineering, which was in charge of works supervision for the project. Attending the ceremony were Eng. Mauro Gallinaro, technical director of Pool Engineering and director of works for the project, and Arch. Cristina Perin, operational director for the architectural works.

The design, by C+S Architects, features ten classrooms on a single floor, each with direct access to the garden, together with a photovoltaic system, underfloor heating and controlled mechanical ventilation.

As the Mayor of Conegliano, Fabio Chies, recalled, Parè is the neighbourhood with the highest level of integration in the city: “here it is not Italians and foreigners who come in, only children”. Seeing them sing Rodari’s nursery rhymes in their new school is the greatest satisfaction of all.
