New Ca’ del Galletto branch of the Liceo Canova in Treviso inaugurated
On 1 October 2026 we experienced a moment that makes us particularly proud: the inauguration of the new branch of the Liceo Canova, a €10.3 million project carried out by the Province of Treviso under the PNRR (Italy’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan) and completed on schedule, so much so that students were able to move into the new building right at the start of the school year.
In place of a 1959 building in energy class G, there is now a three-storey school for 400 students, with classrooms, laboratories and a gym, in energy class A4 and to the NZEB-20 standard, equipped with a photovoltaic system, building automation for managing the building systems, and mechanical ventilation with filtration and ionisation systems.
Pool Engineering led the group of designers and was responsible for works supervision, following the project from the initial idea to the completed site.
A sincere thank you to everyone who made this result possible: Eng. Mauro Gallinaro, technical director of Pool Engineering, design coordinator and director of works; Eng. Gelindo Brino, safety coordinator during construction; the architecture team working on this project, Cristina Perin, Stefano Vidotto, Sergio Cescon and Federica Sartorato; and the structures and cost estimating team, Fabio Balliana, Paolo Candiani, Piero Brugnera and Ezio Turbian.
Thanks also to our fellow architects in the group, Andrea Sforzin, Fabrizio Giannachi and Simone Giacchetto, to the Province of Treviso (in particular Marina Coghetto and Mariapia Barbieri) and to the contractors Bottoli Costruzioni and SIEL Impianti, who built the project.
Designing a school means building spaces where new generations can study, meet and grow. We are happy that Ca’ del Galletto is now at their disposal.
